MD HQL Classes
Course Name: MD Handgun Qualification License (HQL) Course
PLEASE NOTE: If you have a Maryland Medical Marijuana Card, you are ineligible to receive a Handgun Qualification License (HQL) in the State of Maryland. Please do not register for the course.
Cost: $175 per person (Includes Fingerprints)
Course Overview: Required 4 hour course for new purchasers of handguns in Maryland. Certain exceptions apply. Includes required digital LiveScan fingerprinting onsite.

Pre-requisites: No prior experience required to take the MD HQL. You will need to fill out and submit a LiveScan form in advance.
Next Course: The MD HQL class meets the state of Maryland's requirements to apply for your MD HQL license. To continue in your training, we recommend the NEXT Steps Training class.
