Course Description:

The workplace, much like the home, for many is a comfortable environment, allowing ourselves to become complacent with our coworkers and customers and slipping into a false sense of security. It is critical to understand how to identify and mitigate the effects of workplace violence not only as an employee or manager but also as an employer, working alone or in large groups.

Course Overview:

• Defining what workplace violence is

• Discussing who is most likely affected

• How to recognize early signs

• How to react in the event it occurs

• Post incident procedures
