Features

Turning Targets

Turning targets are only available at FreeState Gun Range. Turning targets open new and exciting challenges for avid shooters.

Fees

Range Fees

$18/hour, one-hour minimum. $10/hour for a second shooter on the same lane.  Targets start at 50¢, and ear and eye protection is available for a small rental fee.

Memberships allow unlimited range usage as well as a number of other perks and are available for individuals as well as families.

Law Enforcement, Fire, and military please ask a FreeState staff member about your discounts for hourly range time and range membership.

Safety

Safety is our number one priority at FreeState.  Our range rules are in place to maintain a safe environment for our customers and employees.  We ask that everyone help us maintain a safe and relaxing environment for those around you.  It is everyone's responsibility, from the newest shooter to the most experienced, to watch for unsafe actions.  Our goal is to immediately and respectfully correct any unsafe act that we witness.  With that in mind, please help us by adhering to the following rules:

-Only FreeState staff and uniformed law enforcement may wear a holstered firearm (loaded or unloaded)

-Please adhere to the "Two Man" rule.  We insist that any firearms coming in to our establishment be verified clear by two people, one of whom will be a FreeState employee.  This includes all chambers, cylinders, and magazines whether in or out of the firearm.  This is most frequently done as you check in to shoot.

-Please refrain from handling any firearms in the showroom or lounge without a member of FreeState staff present.  Any firearms that are to be handled outside of the range shall be verified clear, and all persons involved will observe posted safety rules.

-Please case, uncase, load and unload all firearms at the bench in your designated shooting lane.  Firearms shall not be left outside of a case in any area of the range or store other than your designated shooting lane.

-Please do not bring steel core ammunition into the store or range.  This ammunition can cause damage to our range and has an increased risk for injury to those around you in certain situations.  

-Above all, have fun! Feel free to ask questions, raise concerns, and make suggestions.  We go to great lengths to maintain a relaxed environment, and we want you to leave knowing that you had a great, fulfilling experience.
